Jungli was conceived by Mr. Durgesh Sahu in the year 2004, an avid adventurist and a thorough nature lover. The tribes dwelling in the jungles of Jharkhand existed in harmony with nature. Since they were elusive to the world, their way of cooking and their ingredients were very unique & some of their dishes are included in the menu. Many renowned personalities have visited the restaurant, appreciated it and patronized it. To name a few , Mr. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Mr. Naseeruddin Shah, Mr. Imtiyaz Ali, Mr. Tinu Anand, and Mr. Hemant Soren. It has enjoyed coverage in prime media like India Today Travel Plus, Outlook Traveler, Discovery India, Times of India, Travel XP HD etc. & also awarded the ‘No. 1 restaurant’ in Ranchi by a public opinion poll.
